Paracord comes in various colours & I love creating collections. Matching the best colours together, coming up with names. All my collections are inspired by nature.
When I first started, I wanted to have pretty colors. I was unsure about what people would love & it made me a little insecure sometimes. But I needed to follow my path, my vision. So when I shifted my perspective, that I am doing this for myself, that I want to do what I love, I let go of the idea of what others may like.
My first collection was the Desert collection. I’ve never been to the desert (We live in the Netherlands, there are no deserts here) But it looks so otherworldly. Actually the first logo that I made for Dejavoodoodogs was a dog in a Ufo.
The desert collection, includes the colors : Alien, Armadillo, Prairie & Skippy. I choose the names carefully, usually I have multiple name options for one color & one just fits best. They have to be something in nature.. a mushroom, an animal, a phenomenon, they have to match the color, it just needs to feel right for me.
For dogs there are 8 collections currently :
The Desert, Light Desert, Dark Desert, Forest, Light Forest, Paradise, Jungle & Arctic Tundra.
For cats there are 6 collections currently :
The Desert, Dark desert, Forest, Light Forest, Paradise & Arctic Tundra. With Paradise having one additional color, that the dog collection doesn’t have.
In the future I will add the 2 remaining collections.
I use paracord type 1 for cats & type 3 for dogs, but not every type has exactly the same color available. Due to colors not always being exactly the same, I’m searching for the best alternative; so my collections for dogs & cats will match.
